My 3d printing started back in 2019 when I bought a used Creality Ender 3 pro, now this machine is nothing like the machines on the market today, you had to level the bed, that was a job in itself.  Load your single color filament there was no multi-color either, and if you were lucky you got a print from your printer. I wanted to print not spend hours tinkering with different settings.  I carried on with this machine until January of 2025 when I purchased a Bambu Lab A1 with an AMS lite, (automated material system) capable of 4 different colors. Now this machine is something else self leveling bed, pre-programmed everything with a dedicated studio,and also very similar to the Ender 3 in the way it printed, getting back into printing was a dream, no more hours of tinkering just load and print. So enthused with this machine I expanded and bought 2 more Bambu Lab Printers this time it was the P1s model both with AMS,1 of the AMS units was the original still capable of 4 colors but an enclosed unit. the other AMS unit the 2pro now comes with a drying function as some filaments can absorb humidity and will lead to failed prints.
